Parks and gardens
Projects

The lighting systems in parks and gardens have to respect the biological cycles of the plants and their colors.

Lighting should respect darkness, that should never be integrally revealed, in order to play with shadows and backlighting, emphasizing the poetry of nature.

The visibility of the lighting bodies, which are not direct protagonists in this context, must be minimized.

The installation must take into account the compatibility with green maintenance, which must not be hindered by invasive or too delicate lighting fixtures.

For the public green areas, we must pay particular attention to the safety rules and to the issues of maintenance and vandalism.

However it is also necessary to give to the light an emotional, evocative value, to highlight the peculiarity of places while keeping coherence among the urban context.

The lighting equipment working outdoor must guarantee the maximum reliability and duration over time, despite the great environmental stress (atmospheric agents, powder and bugs penetration, mechanical stress from stamping and mowers, vandalism).

Low environmental impact and energy saving lamps should be chosen, following the Green Lighting ethics.
